Youth Group News
We meet on Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Christmas Party
Due to conflicts with the school, the Youth Group decided to MOVE our Christmas party to Wednesday, December 20.  So, be sure to put that NEW DATE on your calendar.  We agreed to exchange "Secret Santa" gifts.  We settled on a $10 maximum for these gifts.  We will add an extra half-hour to our meeting time.  So, on December 20 we will be together 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Youth Group - Christmas Break
Our youth will not meet on Wednesday, December 27.  We will be back on Wednesday, January 3.

Soul Food
This has become a Youth Group tradition over the last several years.  It is probably the most Christ-like thing we do all year.  Soul Food is purely about serving others.  We will cook meals for 90-100 people and box them up ready for delivery.  Adults from our church will deliver the meals to people who need them thoughout Carrollton.  We will prepare these meals for delivery on Sunday, February 11, 2018Learn more about Soul Food.

C.M.U. Tops in Dollars for Scholars
Central United Methodist University (formerly, Central United Methodist College) leads all UMC-related colleges and universities in the country in the number of Dollars For Scholars student aid recipients.  C.M.U. partners with local United Methodist congregations, the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation (UMHEF) and the Missouri United Methodist Foundation (MUMF) to provide these renewable ($3K-$4K) scholarships.  This year C.M.U. and the Missouri Conference had 45 DFS recipients, second only to the Georgia Conference, which has nearly a dozen UMC-related colleges and universities compared to Missouri's one and only university-C.M.U.
