Hurricane Maria devastated the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico September 2017. Recovery has been painfully slow. Many people are still without electricity and other basic necessities. The United Methodist Church is there through the United Methodist Committee on Relief. (U.M.C.O.R.).
Recent Earth Quakes: A magnitude 6 earthquate on Septemer 23, 2019 followed by three significant aftershocks. Then a magnitude 5 earthquake struck on February 4. It was the 11th earthquake of at least that size in the past 30 days, according to the US Geological Survey.
