Lay Servant Training

The Northwest District of the United Methodist Church (of which we are a part) is offering a Lay Servant Workshop.  These courses are great for anyone who wants to learn about being a Methodist, how to do more for your church, how to help your pastor and congregation in a vaariety of ways.

Basic Course:
Lay Servant Ministries: Basic Course.
Discover how you can more effectively plug in the service of Christ through the local church.  Learn more about the United Methodist Church, especially the role of the laity as servants of the Lord.
Advance Course (Option 1):
Lay Servants Lead in Conflict Resolution.
We all have to deal with conflicts from time to time, whether it is in the church or places where we work and play.  Lay servants can be equipped and empowered to help led through those times.
Advance Course (Option 2):
United Methodist Polity.  An overview of the structure and organization of The United Methodist Church.  Course will connect denominational governance and organization to or beliefs, as well as our mission.

Cost:  $20 per course; includes lunch.
